• At 14 years old, Wilson is the wise and scruffy heart of our team. A terrier mix with a big personality packed into 18 pounds, he’s happiest when he’s around people—offering wiggles, wags, and endless encouragement (hence aka Willy Wiggle Butts). Wilson reminds us daily that moving forward in life should be met with joy, connection, and maybe a few extra snuggles along the way.

Favorite Tip: “Don’t hold onto clutter—make room for what makes you happiest (like belly rubs and good company)!”

Meet the Team

  • Hella founded Hella Home Solutions in 2023 to support older adults and their families through the often-overwhelming process of moving and downsizing. Her work is rooted in compassion, organization, and a deep respect for each client’s goals, memories, and independence.

With more than 25 years of experience working with older adults locally, statewide, and nationally, she brings a thoughtful, steady approach to every transition. Hella is especially passionate about creating calm, functional living spaces and empowering clients to make confident decisions while preserving what matters most to them.

Hella has represented older adults locally, statewide, and nationally. She remains highly engaged in the community, currently serving as Chair of the Board of Elder Care Services in Tallahassee and as a Director on the Board of Choose Tallahassee. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family, friends, her “furry children,” traveling, trying new recipes, staying active, and giving back through community service.

Favorite Tip: Create space that supports how you live today, not how you lived in the past. Respect the memories but design for the future.

  • After years in the interior design and service industries, Rocky landed at Hella Home Solutions during the early days of the business. Rocky brings a passion for design, spatial analysis, and organization to every project. With a certification in kitchen and bath design, she combines technical expertise with a deep appreciation for the stories and memories behind each client’s belongings. Rocky's unusual ability to experience color & space through all five senses makes her uniquely skilled at reinventing the old into something beautifully new. Outside of work, you can find Rocky spending time with her children, grandchildren, friends, and family. She loves thrifting and restoring vintage and antique decor and furniture to their full potential.

Favorite tip: If you love it, keep it. Don’t listen to anyone but your own needs and desires. We will make it work in your new space.

  • Carissa joined Hella after decades of working in customer-focused roles and came to Hella Home Solutions through a connection to another team-member (Thanks, Rocky!). She was drawn to the meaningful work of helping people through life’s big transitions. Her favorite part of the process is seeing clients settle into their new home, knowing every detail was arranged with care.

She brings creativity, strategic thinking, and a sense of humor, always aiming to make the journey a little lighter and more enjoyable. She values the relationships formed with both clients and co-workers.

Outside of work, Carissa loves spending time with her husband and four kids, going outdoors to watch birds, kayak, garden or enjoy the ocean, and working on DIY projects around the house.

Favorite Tip: Display your favorite things- no matter what they are. Even if the collection seems silly or “out of style” or meaningless to others, proudly display the things that mean the most to you! Our homes should bring us joy and make us smile.

  • Shelley brings a compassionate, people-first approach to move management, downsizing, and organizing. With a background in healthcare, she was drawn to this work as another meaningful way to support people during major life transitions. Shelley especially enjoys helping turn what can be a stressful time into a calm, hopeful new beginning. Known for her positivity and ability to make others feel at ease, she strives to leave a positive impact on everyone she meets. Outside of work, Shelley’s greatest joy is her family, along with her love of plants—especially flowers.

  • Retired from a lifetime of community, church, and civic involvement, Nancy is excited to join Hella Home Solutions because she can continue being of service in meaningful ways. She looks forward to helping seniors make smooth, positive transitions to their new living situations.

With her fantastic sense of humor, great eye for design, and natural ability to connect with people, Nancy brings warmth and insight to every project. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her husband, her daughters and their partners, her dogs, and enjoying long walks outdoors.

  • Lori joined Hella Home Solutions after a chance connection with another team member sparked her interest in the meaningful work of helping homeowners downsize and transition with ease. As a transition specialist, she brings empathy, organization, and humor to every project.

Her greatest strength is helping clients make clear, confident decisions about what to keep and what to let go of—always with calm encouragement and positivity.

When she’s not working, Lori enjoys playing tennis, listening to podcasts, and spending time with friends and family.

Favorite Tip: Start small—choose a manageable space to begin and finish it. That sense of accomplishment will keep you motivated to get the job done.

  • At 7.5 years old, Madeline is proof of resilience and fresh starts. Rescued from a difficult past, this gentle beagle has found her stride as the official ‘relocation  strategistspecialist’—always moving and strategically placing her toys and other household items as she deems appropriate!  from one room to another. Maddie reminds us that transition, while sometimes challenging, can lead to a life filled with comfort, love, and purpose.

Favorite Tip: “When moving, take only the things you truly love—you’ll enjoy them more when they have a special place in your new home.”
