(Helsinki, November 5, 2010)
A remarkable amount of endangered snowmen have just escaped from a farm in Helsinki. The global warming had people believing that snowmen were already extinct, but apparently a small population has secretly been kept safe in a cool farm in the middle of the city.
The latest estimates are that there could be hundreds of snowmen on the loose.
We advise everybody to stay calm but attentive. The light-reflecting snowmen tend to try to hang on to your bag or the hem of your coat. They reflect light like traffic signs.
If you are driving a car and see a snowman on the street or road please slow down.
Despite our efforts we have not been able to reach the snowman-farmer Taina Värri for comments.

If you manage to get a snapshot of a wandering snowman or have a question please send it to info@hellahuone.fi.
